    Thank you Madam Speaker. I'm in support of SCR 162 introduced by my counterpart and Kapolei Senator Gabbard. And this would call for the establishment or for the DOE to establish a committee to develop a K through 12 campus.

    A Hawaiian immersion campus in our region out in West Oahu. Currently the Waianae Coast, has the largest concentration of of Hawaiians in the world with the homesteads out there.

    And once all the planned DHL projects are built out in the Kapolei region, it will then be the Kapolei area. So looking forward in the next few decades, it would be prudent and acceptable for this body to make sure that eventually there is a full k through 12 Hawaiian
