News coverage of Diamond Garcia
Diamond Garcia was born and raised in West Oʻahu and is an alumnus of Hawaiian Mission Academy. He represents Varona Village, ‘Ewa, Kapolei and Fernandez Village. Garcia previously served as vice chair of his neighborhood board and as chair of the health, parks and recreation, public safety and education committees.
“Hawaiʻi’s high cost of living can be attributed to regulations that stifle our local businesses and a government that takes too much hard-earned money from overburdened taxpayers,” Garcia said. “This financial strain is driving too many families to leave Hawaiʻi, as they can no longer afford to stay in our beautiful state due to our failing economy.”
