Jackson Sayama, who represents St. Louis Heights, Pālolo Valley, Maunalani Heights, Wilhelmina Rise and Kaimukī, was on his neighborhood board before running for the Legislature. He is chair of the House Labor Committee, where he advocates for policies supporting working families, including working on housing and homelessness issues.
Sayama was born and raised in St. Louis Heights. He graduated from Punahou and went to China where he attended the New York University of Shanghai. Sayama has an M.A. in public administration from the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa.
