House Standing Committee on Energy & Environmental Protection

Convening the Committee on Energy and Environmental Protection today, Thursday, April 17th, 2025, at 1:15 PM in conference room 430. To my right we have Chair Lowen. We also have Representative Kusch and Representative Kahaloa. My name is Representative Perruso and we are just going to be hearing one resolution, SCR 194, SD 1.

We are going to skip over all the formalities and head straight to—the first testifier was Ted Bolan, Hawaii Reef and Ocean Coalition, submitted testimony in support.

We have nobody here to testify in person, so Members, we have no questions to ask of anyone and with your indulgence, I would like to recommend—I'd like to move straight to decision making—and my recommendation is that we pass this resolution as is. Are there any questions or concerns? Seeing none, Chair for the vote.
