    Bio

    Sean Quinlan, the House Majority Leader, represents Waialua, Hale‘iwa, Kawailoa Beach, Waimea, Sunset Beach, Waiale‘e, Kawela Bay, Kahuku, Lā‘ie, Hau‘ula, Punalu‘u and Kahana. He was born in Hong Kong and attended George Mason University before leaving in his senior year to travel around China.

    Quinlan lives in Haleʻiwa on the North Shore of Oʻahu. He’s married and has one child. In a 2024 candidate Q&A, he cited overtourism and the traffic associated with that as the biggest issue facing his district.
