    Thank you, Mr. President. I'm asking for a late introduction of Dan Hare, who is the President. Is Dan here present? Thank you. Please stand up. He's the President and Chief Executive Officer for Navien, a non profit organization that provides hospice, palliative and Kupuna Care.

    In 2023, over 21% of Hawaii's residents are over the age of 65 years old. That that number is expected to rise to 1 in 4 by 2035. An estimated 219,000 people Navien's mission is to make sure that each of these residents get the care they need to age gracefully and with dignity. So welcome to the Senate, Dan.
