Thank you. Thank you, Madam Speaker. In the gallery today, we have the Christian Homeschoolers of Hawaii, or CHOH, which is a statewide organization started in 1988 after parents worked with the Board of Education to write Hawaii's homeschool law. CHOH's mission is to promote, protect, and provide services, support to homeschooling families through its website and other activities.

  • Scot Matayoshi

    Legislator

They also serve as a liaison to the Department of Education. The homeschoolers visiting today represent families from all over the island, and they are excited to visit their elected officials and see their offices. Welcome to the House of Representatives. Sorry, Madam Speaker, I have one more introduction.

  • Linda Ichiyama

    Legislator

    Please proceed.

  • Scot Matayoshi

    Legislator

If I may. We also have a group of high school students from Castle High School visiting the Capitol today as part of their participation in democracy class. They're here today to see how this all works, to visit committee hearings, to visit with their representatives, and I believe they even ran a mock hearing or a mock trial at Iolani Palace. So welcome to the House of Representatives.

  • Linda Ichiyama

    Representative Kong.

  • Sam Kong
