To facilitate this hearing in a timely manner, we will be enforcing a one minute limit on testimony, except for the nominee.

The nominee will can have more than as much as she wants within the time allotted. I'll be reading a list of individuals who submitted written testimony for each measure. So before we go to the nominee, let me read the the first up, we have disability council in support, Daintry Bartoldus.

Thank you. Daintry Bartoldus, executive director for the Hawaii State Council on Developmental Disabilities, and we're in strong support of Karen Glasser. On our board, we need diversity. We do a great job supporting people with developmental disabilities. We have cognitive and physical. We need more people with physical disabilities to represent that group, and Karen Glasser through the United Cerebral Palsy can do just that.

Identify yourself and let us know why it is that you want to be part of the State Council of this of Developmental Disabilities.

Aloha, Senator. Aloha, audience. Mahalo for this opportunity. My name is Karen Glasser, and I'm a program manager for United Cerebral Palsy early intervention group serving Honolulu West specifically. So that is Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Aliamanu, Salt Lake, that area.

UCP actually serves all of Southern Honolulu from Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam all the way to Hawaii Kai. We have four programs. And so what we do is super important in terms of getting kiddos with developmental delays and with intellectual developmental disabilities and physical disabilities started in their training so that they are able to be supported and enter the DOE at the same sort of level as their peers.

I have served on the committee for a year and have, almost a year, and have enjoyed it very much. And I would love to continue serving on the advisory board for DD Council.

Okay. Thank you very much. Members, any questions of Karen Glasser? We have on a on record her resume where she was a state director for best buddies in Hawaii and in Virginia and in DC. And we also have, her experience as program manager, early intervention, as well as her responses to our questionnaire.

We asked her for, whether not there's any conflicts of interest, doesn't appear to be any, and what she believes her role and responsibilities are of to be a member of this board.
