    Bio

    Ikaika Olds represents Mō‘ili‘ili and McCully. He was born and raised in Kailua and graduated from Kailua High School. Inspired by the events of 9/11, Ikaika enlisted right out of high school and served eight years as a U.S. Army Infantryman, with two combat deployments to Iraq. He is vice chair of the Human Services and Homelessness Committee.

    Olds holds bachelor’s and and master’s degrees in psychology. He previously worked with Waikiki Health and with the Department of Education’s Office of Education of Homeless Children and Youth. Olds is a member of the Sons and Daughters of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team.
