Yes, Madam Speaker. We have received a communication transmitting Senate Concurrent Resolution number one requesting the Chief Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court to address the Legislature assembled in joint session for the State of the Judiciary address having been adopted in the Senate.

Thank you, Madam Speaker. In the spirit of our great representative in Nanakuli, I want to say I have the honor to do the first introduction for the session. And I have a very warm and special place for these Members because I want to see more growth in this area.

Thank you. Speaker, Colleagues, constituents in the State of Hawaii last year 2024, I was noticed that I broke in ethics violation in 2019 when I applied to run for State House Representative. I have incorrectly filling out this document that I misunderstood with ethics. And just a few months ago, I resolved it with ethics.

Ended up paying a fine. And there was no way in the world that I went out there to mislead my community, my constituents and the people of Hawaii. I always was a kind of person that always is transparent serve my community and we believe in honest my character and my legacy that's behind me.

So therefore, for what I did wrong, I apologize and I'm sorry. Please forgive me.
