Bio
Chris Lee served in the House of Representatives for 12 years before jumping to the Senate in 2020 where he chairs the Transportation and Culture and the Arts Committee. He is an assistant majority whip. He has worked as a director of a nonprofit and helped out with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Honolulu, the Hawaii Meth Project, Breakthroughs for Youth at Risk and the Ala Wai Watershed Association.
“We must imagine the Hawaiʻi we want to see and work backward identifying actionable steps to get there, letting go of the assumptions and sacred cows that traditionally hold us back, so we can all adapt together,” he says. Lee represents Kailua, Waimānalo and Hawai‘i Kai.
