    Bio

    Rachele Lamosao is Filipino American, born in Honolulu and raised in Waipahu. Her parents immigrated from the Philippines in the early 1980s. She was appointed to the Senate in December 2025 after Henry Aquino resigned. Her Senate district includes Pearl City, Waipahu, West Loch Estates and Ho‘opili.

    Lamosao attended August Ahrens Elementary, Waipahu Intermediate and Waipahu High School. She attended the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s in public administration. Lamosao was a member of the Waipahu Neighborhood Board and volunteered with Waipahu High School and the Taste of Waipahu planning committee. She worked as a legislative staffer and officer manger for the Legislature before running herself.
