Mahalo, Mr. President. I rise today to recognize some very special guests visiting us from Kona. First joining us in the gallery are members of the student council from Kahakai Elementary School.

Will the students along with their teachers and chaperones seated in the gallery please, rise? Miss mister president, these young leaders demonstrate a strong commitment to service and civic engagement at such an early age.

As a proud alum, please join me again in welcoming the Kahakai Elementary School student council to the Senate Chambers. You may be seated. Mr. President, I have a few other guests I'd like to introduce.

Next, we are honored to have with us Mr. Justin Brown's freshman class from Kealakehe High School. Will the students, along with Mr. Brown and their chaperones seated in the gallery, please rise?

Mr. President, these students have just returned from NASA's human exploration rover challenge at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama, where they achieved an incredible second place finish in the world.

This is an outstanding accomplishment that makes our entire Kona community extremely proud. Please join me again in congratulating mister Brown and the Kealakea High School freshmen.

House Communication number 782 returns Senate Concurrent Resolution number 110 House Draft 1 that was adopted in the house in an amended form for a degree disagree.

Thank you, Senate president. I don't believe she is here, although we informed her of this. I would just like to rise on a point of personal privilege to support the confirmation of Laura Mallory Sayer.

And the reason for this is because she has been a wonderful resident and supporter of EMS and of Hawaii County Fire Department for decades and recently also for our Maui Fire Department.

And for those reasons, the the millions of dollars that she has raised with her with her husband should not go unnoticed.

Thank you, Senate President. I just wanted to rise and also say a few words for Cody, GM 746. Sorry that he couldn't make it, but I think that he's gonna be a a great asset to the construction license board with his experience and his background.
