Thank you, Mr. President. I rise to request a waiver of the public notice requirement pursuant to Senate Rule 21 to hold a hearing on SB 946. The reason for such waiver was that SB 946 was inadvertently left off the original hearing notice.
- Joy San Buenaventura
Legislator
Thank you, Mr. President. Your committees on Health and Human Services and Agriculture and Environment will hold a public hearing on Senate Bill 946 on Friday, January 31st at 1:00pm in Conference Room 225. The notice was filed in the Clerk's office this morning. Thank you.

- Dru Kanuha
Legislator
Colleagues, please join me in congratulating the Konawaena High School Wahine Wildcat girls basketball team for their outstanding victory in last night's Big Island Interscholastic Federation Championship game. With this win, the Wahine Wildcats improved to an impressive 21-3 record overall and set their sights on capturing hopefully their sixth state championship, which is a record, hopefully will be a record for Hawaii's public schools. Best of luck to Coach Bobbie Awa and the Wahine Wildcats as they continue their pursuit of excellence.
- Ron Kouchi
Legislator
Thank you. Further Announcements? Well, the Chair has two along with Senator Kanuha. I know the girls' soccer championships started yesterday, and they have relocated today's games to Castle and Pearl City to be on turf fields because of the weather, and I hope that all of the athletes get to participate.
- Ron Kouchi
Legislator
The weather doesn't seem to be cooperating for the girls who are all here on Oahu. Related to that, I have weather information that I would like to share with the entire Senate. So when we adjourn, I will ask both the Democratic and Republican Senators to meet in the caucus room along with the Majority Attorney and the Clerk. Any other announcements? If not, Senator Wakai.
- Glenn Wakai

Mr. President, I move that we stand adjourned until 11:30am tomorrow.
- Ron Kouchi

It's been moved and seconded. Any discussion? Any objections? Hearing none. We will stand adjourned until 11:30am tomorrow.
