While not present with us today, I'm happy to recognize two awardees who are constituents in my district in Kabla Central Districts, Lelahua Mililani, Waialua Complex Teacher of the Year and Erin Takamura, Luu Leeward District's Iaea Moanalua Radford Complex Teacher of the Year Ian has been the Band Director for Wailua High and intermediate school for 15 years.

Ian has also recently started the first Lion Dance team in the doe. The next honoree is Erin Takamura Lu who was unable to join us today. Erin is a first grade teacher whose approach for education focuses on meeting students where they are academically and emotionally positioned.
