    Bio

    Jenna Takenouchi is vice chair of the influential House Finance Committee although she is only in her second term in the Legislature. She previously worked in public relations and provided administrative support in the telecommunications field.

    She attended Pauoa Elementary, Kawananakoa Middle and Roosevelt High schools, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa and a master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.

    Takenouchi, who represents Pacific Heights, Nu‘uanu and Liliha, is an official with the Democratic Party of Hawaiʻi.
