Thank you. Members, today we will be recognizing high school teams who have recently competed in the Hawaii LifeSmart State Competition. LifeSmart teaches students critical life skills needed to succeed in a modern global marketplace. During the competition, students are tested on their knowledge of personal finance, consumer rights and responsibilities, health and safety, technology, and the environment.

It is my pleasure to introduce Waipahu High School's team five and team two who outperformed schools statewide in the online portion of the competition, making it to the Hawaii Life Smart State competition this past February where they placed fourth and third.

Waipahu High School's team five consists of captain Angelina Alcantro Pao, who is joining us here on the floor, and team members Keisha Arellano, Monica Velasco, Chara Daley, and Sophie Yamamoto. Waipahu High School's team two is made up of captain Jericho Augustine, here on the floor, and team members Kyle Baldovi, Caleb Aguayo, Chase Litchfield, and Felix Oka. Both teams are coached by Cindy Takara.

Coming in second place in the 2026 LifeSmart state competition, it is my pleasure to congratulate Kalani High School's team, Kalani 7.0. Unfortunately, due to the weather, the Kalani's team could not join us as planned today, but I would still like to take the time to recognize them. Comprised of Captain Randolyn Tran, Michelle Kabaseawa, Nicole Du, Zachary Lee, and Christian Atashe. Their dedication, countless hours, preparation, and strong teamwork earned them an impressive second place finish in this highly competitive event.

This year, the Iolani Raiders consists of captain James Chen, seated here with us, and teammates Donovan Kwan, Dominic Nakama, Henry Lee, Inseo Kim and coach Kit Yewong.

After dedicating numerous hours of preparation, the Iolani Raiders competed in the statewide final hosted at the Neil S. Blaisdell Center and emerged victorious. Securing first place in the competition. It'll begin next month, but I wanted to give members ample notice that if you are able to, while you're hunkered down this weekend, gather up a gently used women's clothing that can be used by women who are seeking a second start in life after houselessness or incarceration and provides them with the means to dress for a business working environment. Announcement for the women's legislative caucus. Easter basket drive, again, it's gonna be Monday, but instead of holding it in the Rotunda as we were originally going to do it, we're planning to have it now in the in front of the auditorium area due to the weather.
