Daisy Hartsfield is an attorney and former state Child Welfare Services official who was appointed to the House in January 2026, replacing Rachele Lamosao who was appointed to the Senate to replace Henry Aquino who resigned. Her district includes Waipahu, where she has lived for many years and graduated from Waipahu High School.
Hartsfield has worked in the criminal justice system as a probation officer and drug court supervisor. She was a deputy public defender, a deputy prosecutor and deputy attorney general. Her private law practice covered both civil and criminal law as well as family matters.
