    Legislator

Okay, welcome everyone to the Judiciary Committee this Friday morning, the 28th, our last decking deadline day. We have one Bill on this agenda for decision-making. That's SB 1285. This establishes the offense of operating a vehicle while impaired with includes penalties and requires the Attorney General to submit report to the Legislature.

  • Karl Rhoads

    Legislator

Recommendation here is to pass with some amendments. I would like to insert a new section of the Bill which will automatically suspend the license of a person arrested for driving under the influence and then allow the person to contest the suspension and go through the current administrative process at the ADLRO.

    Legislator

And we'll amend the preamble to reflect the amendments to make other conforming amendments and we'll make it effective upon it. April 23, 2057. That's the recommendation. Questions or concerns? If not, Senator Gabbard?

  • Mike Gabbard

    Legislator

On SB 1285 SD1, recommendation is to pass with amendments. [Roll Call] Measures adopted.

  • Karl Rhoads

    Legislator

Okay, thanks very much Members, we do have another DM upstairs. What time is it? 10:14 in 211. Thank you for being here.
