Conference Committee

Okay, we're going to convene the Conference Committee for Finance and WAM on House Bill 300 HD 1 SD 1, relating to the state budget. For the House, it's myself as chair, Representatives Grandinetti, Holt, Hussey, Lee Loy, Kitagawa, Kusch, Lamosao, Lee, Miyake, Morikawa, Takenouchi, Templo, Alcos, and Reyes Oda as managers.

Okay, thank you very much. So we've, you know, I appreciate everything that we've gone through so far. We've actually met and we have moved to agree on certain things. Just for the audiences so that it's clear, what we have agreed to in concept is that everything that lined up perfectly will be viewed as an agree and then going forward it has to be negotiated.

So today we will just say that, you know, those things that line up perfectly are agrees and then we'll be going over some of the things that we have come to agreement on, you know, more or less the easy stuff, and we will, you know, be--as the weeks go on, we'll be going through a few more.

I just want to thank the members of both committees and the committee chairs. Because of their hard work, I think, and especially the staff, we were able to get through quite a bit of things, so I really appreciate everybody's hard work. It's nice to see that the people are behind the Senate literally and figuratively, but I'm looking forward to continuing negotiations, so, thank you for all your guys' hard work.
