The first agenda has only one item, SB2656, which is a short form bill relating to taxation. The purpose of this meeting is to insert the provisions of the proposed SD1 that is posted online and recommit the bill to start the process again to get referred and we'll have a full hearing at a later date.

The recommendation of the Chair is to pass SB2656, proposed SD1 with amendments and recommit the bill back to the Committee on Ways and Means. Chair votes Aye.

The Committee plans to defer this bill today, then repost SB334 as a proposed SD2 and have a full hearing on it. We will take the testimony on the proposed SD2.

So in submitting your testimony, please testify on the proposed SD2 and not the current version that will be posted on our website.
